Cultivate Mentoring Lab accepts applications from women seeking mentors between March and October each year. Applications are reviewed fortnightly and successful applicants are then introduced to a mentor selected for them.
The Cultivate team pairs available mentors with applicants, looking for synergies in their career paths, or other reasons that would make a partnership especially valuable.
While we don't think it's possible, or right, to dictate how a mentoring relationship should work, we do ask mentors and applicants to commit to a 6-month relationship. Mentors make themselves available for at least 12 hours of support over that time. Relationships may of course last longer if both women would like to continue working together.

Our mentors
Our mentors come from a range of professional disciplines, organisation types and backgrounds. They are all passionate about women having equal opportunity to advance in the workplace, and building a pipeline of women who are perceived to be 'leadership ready'.
We endeavour to pair mentors and mentees that have some common ground - whether it's their industry or organisation type, professional discipline, career path, life stage or background.
